Job Description
The Medical Editor will do editing according to AMA style and proof reading the company's
transcribed files according to editorial style templates.
Responsibilities
- Editing and proof reading transcribed documents for a variety of patient reports.
- Reference checking/revising, as necessary
Education: Bachelor's Degree of an allied medical profession
Experience: We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a consistent record of
academic excellence, personal achievement and leadership. Creativity, initiative and resourcefulness are
a must.
Ideal Candidates would possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree
- Demonstrated 3-5 years of medical editing, with samples
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Superior performance on provided editing test
- Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
- Excellent skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.
- An uncompromising commitment to quality and a passion for health care
